We spent 8 months helping Lunmei prepare for launch. Yesterday, Anime Paradox hit 20K+ concurrent players and the Discord exploded to 60K members. Here's how it happened.

Yesterday, Anime Paradox went live. Within hours, the game hit 20,000+ concurrent players. The Discord—which we'd been building for months—crossed 60,000 members.
This is the story of an 8-month partnership between Melo Interactive and Lunmei, and what happens when you do the prep work right.
Anime Paradox is an auto-battle strategy game. Mysterious rifts are merging anime worlds together, and players summon powerful units to fight across dimensions. The units think for themselves—you build the team, they handle the combat.
What makes it click:
Lunmei came to us in Q2 2025. The game was shaping up well, but they knew that building a great game isn't enough anymore. Discovery on Roblox is brutal. You need a plan.
Community first. We started building the Discord in mid-2025, way before launch. By the time the game went live, we had 60K people waiting. Not just lurking—actively hyped, sharing clips, theorycrafting builds.
Marketing that actually landed. Q4 2025 and early Q1 2026, we ran coordinated pushes. Content creators, social campaigns, teasers. Everything synced with development milestones so we weren't promising things that weren't ready.
Development support. Melo helped with some of the build work too. This wasn't just a marketing contract—we were in the trenches together.
Launch prep. When you're expecting a flood of players, you better be ready. Server capacity, moderation plans, support workflows—all sorted before day one.
The game went live. The Discord exploded. 20K+ players in-game at once.
Here's what we saw:

The vibe in Discord was electric. Players sharing their pulls, flexing their teams, asking for tips. The kind of organic energy you can't manufacture—you can only set the conditions for it.
Lunmei built something good. That's the foundation. All the marketing in the world can't save a mid game. Anime Paradox is genuinely fun, polished, and has depth.
We started early. 8 months of partnership. Community building began before most people knew the game existed. By launch, we had momentum, not just a cold start.
Coordination, not chaos. Every marketing push was timed. Every announcement had a purpose. Development and marketing moved together, not past each other.
Real community. 60K Discord members isn't a vanity metric when they're actually engaged. These people showed up because they cared.
Lunmei brings Melo on board. Game is in development, but launch strategy starts now.
Discord goes live. We start growing an audience before most people know the game exists.
Content creator partnerships, social campaigns, teasers. Building hype with purpose.
Game goes live. 20K+ CCU. 60K Discord members. The prep work paid off.
Yesterday was day one. Now the real work starts.
We're moving into LiveOps mode: regular updates, events, balance patches, new content. The goal is to keep the 20K players who showed up—and bring in more.
First update is already in the works. The community is full of feedback. We're listening.
Anime Paradox isn't a fluke. It's what happens when a talented dev team and an experienced operations partner actually work together for months before launch day.
If you're building something and thinking about how to actually get players to find it—let's talk.
